Ecofein partners with project developers and owners at each project’s early planning stage to provide conceptual designs, feasibility, and preliminary engineering studies.
In addition to Ecofein’s own engineering team, the company works through strategic alliances with specialist engineers, manufacturers, and service suppliers to deliver the complete Ecofein™ Thermo-Chemical Conversion, Energy Recovery, and Emissions Control Systems.
Larger projects would generally be supplied to the client via an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contract. Under such a contract the EPC contractor would supply the whole project which may include all civil structures such as foundations, buildings, and roads, but also the turnkey process line.
In turn the EPC contractor contracts with Ecofein for the turnkey supply of the process line equipment as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) via Equipment Supply Agreement working as a subcontractor of the EPC contractor.
To reduce transport logistics and costs Ecofein will outsource the manufacture of the Ecofein™ equipment to a project specific, local manufacturing partner that will be able to provide Ecofein supervised maintenance services during operations. Installation activities are conducted by local approved contractors and supervised by Ecofein engineers.
Further project support is delivered following construction through detailed staged commissioning phase prior to start up and normal operations.
All the specialist engineering services, designs, drawings, specifications, project management, supervision, and training would be provided directly by Ecofein, as well as the Ecofein™ Integrated Automated Control System and Machinery Modules which are exclusively supplied by Ecofein.
Commissioning work at site would be done by the Ecofein Engineering Team with the assistance of local contractors and the clients facility operators. These operators would first be trained, by the Ecofein Engineering Team and following supervised and guided through the process.
Operations and maintenance services are agreed on case by case basis ranging from remote supervision to maintaining a permanent staff on site responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Ecofein equipment.
The Ecofein Engineering Team has previous experience working on projects in this for example supplying systems to remote military installations with limited civilian access.
